His Excellency University Rector signed on Sunday morning, 24 February 2008 (15-2-1429), a service contract with His Excellency Director-General of the British Cultural Council, Jim Scarth.  The signing of the contract was attended by His Excellency Deputy Rector for Branches Affairs and an official delegation including His Excellency Deputy Director-General of the British Cultural Council, Tony Qualdriank, the Regional Director for Sciences Projects, Sarah May, and the Director of the Sciences Projects, Abeer Ilmi.  The Ceremony was also attended by the Dean of the College of Science and the Heads of the Departments of Zoology and of Plants and Microbiology.

An Agreement Memorandum between the Center for National Dialogue and the University to Promote the Culture of Dialogue in the Community and to Integrate it within University Education

His Excellency University Rector, Dr. Abdullah ben Abdurrahman Alothman, and His Excellency Sheikh Salih ben Abdurrahman Alhassine, Head of the National Convention for Intellectual Dialogue at King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, signed yesterday morning an Agreement Memorandum at King Saud University geared to promote the culture of dialogue and spread its concepts among students at the University. The Agreement was also aimed at fostering intellectual and cultural consciousness, which springs out of the culture of dialogue that is embedded in the Islamic faith and the Saudi national values, and the principles of tolerance, communication and moderation for which this culture stands.
