Academic qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (with First Class Honors), 1406H, Faculty of Engineering, King Saud University.

  • Master of Survey Engineering and Photogrammetry, in 1411H, Faculty of Engineering, University of
       Wisconsin, Madison, USA.

  • Ph.D. in determining the accuracy of the use of airborne global positioning systems integrated with     
       terrestrial geodetic survey in 1416H, Faculty of Engineering, University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA.

  • -  ( 1416H - 1422H): Part-time Adviser - the Environment Company Architects and Engineers

    • Technical supervision of the terrestrial survey Group in the field survey works for a number of projects implemented in Makkah, the holy shrines, and other places.

    • To study the quotations presented by the survey equipment suppliers, such as: global positioning and the overall plant, and others, and choosing the suitable ones in the light of the performance and accuracy of the devices and their suitability for each project. This will be followed by following up their delivery and verifying their validation and compliance with the required specifications.

    • To deliver theoretical and applied lectures on the principles of the use of modern cadastral systems in order to enhance the performance of the survey group.

    • To extend technical advisory services to the technical staff of the company with respect to the use of engineering and geodetic systems in geographic information systems and other survey programs and linking the sites with the national geodetic network of the Kingdom.

    • To assist in training the technical staff on the equipment and support programs and their proper use.

    • To assist in finding technical solutions to the problems faced by members of the technical team during the field work or the office work required for reducing and organizing the information, and producing it in the final form.

    • To participate in the providing of advice about the comprehensive plan of the holy shrines, within the group of experts participating in the project

    • To supervise the establishment and updating of digital maps of the Holy places in Makkah.

    • To supervise of the establishment of terrestrial constants for the holy places in Makkah by using Global Positioning System GPS.

    • To provide advice to many of cadastral projects implemented by the company.

    • To train surveyors on the company's modern survey equipment and programs.

    - (1418H - 1421H): Member of the Committee on determining the causes of the high water level in
                                        the city of Tabuk.

    • Supervision of the establishment and updating of numerical models and vertical contour lines and digital maps of the study.

    • Studying the best ways to get rid of the problem.

    - (1416H- to date): Member of the teaching staff of the Survey Engineering, Department of Civil
                                         Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Saud University.

    • To teach a number of curricula for undergraduate students, the geodetic survey (2), survey (1) survey (2), Geometric Engineering, Satellite Geodesy and spherical astronomy, detailed survey, legal principles, the geodetic vertical link, statistical estimation and analysis, professional survey, survey camp.

    • To supervise several thesis for undergraduates.

    • To participate in the discussion of many graduation projects.

    • To participate in setting the Bachelor program of the Advanced Survey Engineering in the College.

    • To participate in setting a Masters program in survey engineering in the College.

    - (1406H-1407H): Teaching Assistant, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King
                                       Saud University.

  •      Practical teaching and exercises for the the subjects: survey (1) survey (2), photogrammetry, as  
            well as spherical astronomy and the theory of errors.

  •      Participation in the topographic survey work and calculation of surfaces and volumes of a number
            of dams  in the Central region, as part of a project supported by King Abdul Aziz City for Science
            and Technology.

  •      Participation in the fixing of coordinates and directing the aerial photographs on the analytical
            Tracer in the Riyadh map project in 1950.

  • - (1405H-1406H): A trainee with the Military Survey Department in Riyadh.

              The training included the use of most survey devices available with the Department, whether 
              terrestrial or air, in addition to taking theoretical lessons in the different branches of Survey.

    - The most important studies and research:
    • Modeling of the surface height determination by using the global signature and gravity system.

    • Construction and evaluation of a mathematical model for the global airborne signature system merged with terrestrial and spatial survey.

    • Use of computer instead of the mechanical movement in the mechanical Stereographical devices for aerial photographs.

    • Comparison of the accuracy resulting from the use of the global signature system and traditional spatial settlement devices.

    • Evaluation of the accuracy of the mechanic movement of the global airborne signature system for air triplication purpose.

    • The impact of spatial differentiation changing in the classification accuracy of space images.

    • Comparison and evaluation of the accuracy of the single monitoring global signature system receptors.
