In line with the university's vision as a leading university that offers its students distinct opportunities through channelling educational outcomes to achieve labour market needs, a new competitive internal scholarship program was launched by the deputy university of educational and academic affairs. The program seeks to offer a partnership between the university and the institutions or local companies to offer scholarships to distinct university students. The program nominates male and female students and encourages them to participate in these scholarships through informative lectures on the goals of the program and enrolment requirements given by representatives of the sponsoring companies or institutions to answer the students' questions. The program also offers basic skills development workshops and assistance in overcoming difficulties that might face students before enrolling in the program. Attaining this scholarship will be a great step in ensuring a great future for the granted male or female student because it will offer the chance of a having full financial support to achieve a bachelor degree, participating in a skills development program, and getting good employment offers or continuing international higher education studies.
