The Strategic Planning Unit is
responsible for setting and implementing the strategic plan
of the university, with the sub-plans, follow up the annual
implementation of the plan, developing standards, models and
methods for performance assessment and identifying the gaps
and deviation from the plan, contribute in providing
solutions and removing the hindrances for implementation of
the plan. The unit will also promote the strategic planning
culture and enhance the skills of staff in planning and
performance management.
Training &
Consultancy Unit
The training and consultancy
unit conducts all studies, researches and surveys related to
development, provision of academic advice, develop practical
solutions and research studies that assist the academic &
administrative enhancement, as well as providing decision
makers with reports that enable developing policies and
strategies in the administrative and academic fields. The
unit holds also training courses related to the
administrative and academic development for the university
staff, that support their capabilities to raise the standard
of the university.
Administrative
& Financial Development Unit
The Administrative & Financial
Development Unit is a key unit that provides consultancy
services to the university units. The unit provides its
various administrative and financial services. These
includes studying the administrative procedures and
organizational structures of the university, restructuring ,
setting performance bylaws, operation manuals, job
description, administrative and financial system, detailed
plans and programs, financial consultancy, financial
planning and the profession ethical codes.
University
Identity Unit
This unit is responsible for developing the
university's identity and concept in a manner that coincides
with the university's ambitions for global pioneering,
research excellence and community partnership for building
the knowledge society. This unit coordinates the efforts
among the university units to maintain the unified identity
of the university and follow up compliance with such
identity from all university staff, as well as raising the
standard of awareness with the importance of originating the
organizational culture and reinforce the pride of being a
member of the university.
Labor Market
Contact Unit
This unit works to be the
bridge between the private sector and the university by
coordinating with the private sector, offering initiatives
and contributions, interact with the university's plans and
programs. It works also to attract the private sector
establishments and companies to contribute in the
educational process, conduct studies and specific surveys to
cope with the outputs of the university for labor market
requirements.
