Statistics of the academic achievements of the Center of Science and Medical Studies Departments for the year
• Statistics, percentages and numbers of female students among the science faculties
• Statistics to compare the results of the first semester with the second semester of 1429-1430AH for all faculties and departments of the Center of Science and Medical Studies.
• Scientific Research:
1 - The number of scientific research published in the refereed scientific journals reached 99 researches, in an increase of 50% compared with the number of the past year 1428-1429 AH, which was only 66 researches.
2 - The number of the ongoing researches has reached 194 researches for postgraduate female students and female members of the faculty for the year 1429-1430 AH.
• Funding Financial:
1 - 14 published researches were funded by the Deanship of Scientific Research for the departments of science and medical studies, in addition to 4 published researches were funded by SABIC Research.
2 - 77 of ongoing researches were funded by the Deanship of scientific research for the departments of science and medical studies, and 23 researches funded by King Abdul Aziz City for Research and Technology, in addition to 13 researches funded by SABIC Research for the year 1429-1430 AH.
• Seminars and conferences attended by staff of the departments for the year 1429-1430 AH.

• Awards and medals
1 - Dr. Intisar AShaibani from Collage of Science – Department of Zoology has got an award and medals in the field of medical inventions for the year 1429-1430 AH.
2 - Dr. Eman Fahmy, Collage of Science – Department of Mathematics got an award in the quality of scientific research for two published papers for the year 1429-1430 AH.
3 - Dr. Alia Shuaib, Collage of Science – Department of Botany and Microbiology has got the award of Excellence in achieving the quality of teaching for the year 1429-1430 AH.
Second: The services provided to society’s institutions:
• Central Laboratory Services:
128 samples were analyzed for the female researchers and postgraduate students, in addition to training postgraduate students and researchers from inside and outside the Center.
• Services of the Center of experimental animals caring (Animal House):
All kinds of animals needed for scientific departments, female postgraduate students and researchers from inside and outside the Center were provided, and have reached 110 samples.
• Services Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Collage of Science:
The provision of consultations and statistical information through analyzing data in order to prove the results of applied scientific research for researchers and students of master's and doctorate from the inside and outside the Center.
• The supervision, evaluation and discussion of Masters and PhDs.
• Evaluation and refereeing of scientific research:
Provided by several society’s institutions, as well as from local and abroad scientific refereed journals for the sake of promotion or publication.
• Exhibition Services and social awareness:
Participation was accomplished through providing a number of awareness exhibitions in several areas to serve the community.
• Press releases and guidance participations.
• Radio talk shows in various fields in what serves the community.
Third: Activities of extra curricular:
• Cultural activity: 28 lectures have been organizing, 5 cultural contests 5 open days for some faculties of the Center.
• Students’ clubs: A number of students’ clubs such as the club of computer and Fizeka Club.
• Social activities: A reception was made for new female students, and the opening of the extra-curricular activities as well as the closing ceremony of the extra-curricular activities.
• Students’ clubs: Several groups of female students have visited some of the scientific institutions and specialized hospitals.
