The development of academic departments of the Center for female Scientific and Medical colleges:

1) the opening of a branch, Faculty of Medicine female students to study regular undergraduate degrees by the beginning of the year 1394/1395 AH - 1974/1975, it was the first scientific College that allowed the female students to study regularly in English.

 2) The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences was established in 1396 AH and female students sections were opened in 1396.

 3) female students were allowed to study at the Faculty of Dentistry in the academic year 1398/1399 AH.

4) Female students in the Faculty of Pharmacy in were allowed in 1400 / 1401 AH.

5) Female students in two faculties were allowed to earn a bachelor's degree in 1402/1403 and 1982/1983 AH in The Faculty of Agriculture, (formerly) Agriculture and Food Sciences (currently), Faculty of Science.

6) Female students were allowed to study at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences where only one female section opened, computer applications in 1407/1408 (formerly) Information Technology (currently).

7) the Opening of the College of Nursing for male and female students following the conversion of the nursing department of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences into an independent College in the second semester of the academic year 1424/1425 AH 2004.

Administrative development of the center of university studies for girls:

 • approval of the Supreme Council of the University on its fourth meeting on 13/3/1396 AH corresponding to 1976 to establish the Center for University Studies for Girls.

• The Supreme Council of the University in its tenth meeting of 1395 / 1396 AH appointed the Dean of the Center for University Studies for Girls to represent the Center at the University Council and the Supreme Council of Universities and admitted the authority of the deans of colleges according to the university's regulations and rules. It also created female administration under the supervision of the Dean in Oleishah's Center. It had a large number of administrators compared to the number of those in the administration of science and medical studies in Al-Malaz which is under the supervision of the agent.

• The Supreme Council of the University in its third meeting in 1402 / 1403 AH agreed to the formation of the "Center for University Studies for Girls"

• the issuance of an administrative decision dated 18/11/1404 A.H. No. 13458 / 13 to establish the subsidiary "of the center of departments of science and medical studies in Al-Malaz" headed by the Dean of the Center for University Studies for Girls.

• The issuance of an administrative decision in 1405 A.H to appoint the Dean of the Graduate Center of the girls in Oleishah (Acting).

• the issuance of an administrative decision of the president, number 8175 and on 11/08/1405 that commissioned a supervisor of the Departments and the Director of the Women's Department. Thus it set the administrative separation between the two centers: Oleishah and Al-Malaz, the supervisor has been given the authority of the Dean and assisted by Deputy Director of the male Department.
