The maintenance unit of scientific devices and computers was created on 4/29/1424 H to follow up the maintenance of the scientific devices and computers in all labs of the departments of science and medical studies. On 4/11/1432, the chemicals’ unit was merged with the scientific devices maintenance unit under the name: Devices Follow-Up and Laboratory Safety Unit.

 Tasks:

 Scientific and Office Devices Maintenance and Follow-Up Department. It carries out the following:

1. Follow-up the maintenance of scientific devices.

2. Follow-up the maintenance of office devices.

  Chemicals and Laboratories Supplies Procurement Department. It carries out the following:

1. Follow-up the procurement of chemicals.

2. Follow-up the procurement of laboratories’ supplies.

3 - Follow-up to the disposal of empty chemical containers

4. Follow-up the disposition of expired chemicals.

 Laboratory Safety Department:

1. Procurement of whatever safety supplies in coordination with the Security and Safety Department.

2- follow-up medical waste disposal.
