This unit aims at helping female students improve their psychological, social, and health harmony, encouraging them to succeed and excel in the academic achievement, helping them to overcome pressures they encounter at the university, and supporting them in solving their life problems in a manner that contributes to the refinement of their personalities.

Social Guidance

Social guidance department takes care of all students and addresses its self to solving all problems (social - family - economic - Behavioral – or mental) submitted to it by the Educational Department or submitted directly to the Guidance Office. The Department helps in solving these problems and overcomes the difficulties faced by the student.

Health Unit

The Health Unit provides limited therapeutic service to students within the Center, while the emergency cases are transferred to King Abdul Aziz University Hospital.

Tasks of the Female Students Support Unit:

1. Studying the causes of academic failure, guiding female students who are academically unsuccessful, helping them to advance academically, and protecting them from academic failure.

2. Studying the female students' problems and crises, providing them with psychological, social, and health support, and helping them to face, overcome, and adapt to their problems.

3. Issuing leaflets and brochures that contribute to raising psychological and social awareness of female students.

4. Hosting talent and specialized academic expertise in the area of psychology and social services in order to deliver lectures and courses.

5. Communicating with parents of female students as the situation may require and this shall be taking place with the student's consent.

6. Providing advice and psychological and social services for students of various levels.

7. Contributing to find solutions for the psychological and social problems such as anxiety, shyness, anger, inability to concentrate, lack of marital adaptation, and encountering some undesirables distractions and behaviors.  

8. Developing following-up plans and remedial programs for some diseases and psychological disorders.

9. Coordinating with centers, departments, and medical psychological and social hospitals so as to transfer ill students who require medical assistance.

10. Conducting field visits to the private and public institutions.

11. Activating the administration activities through clubs at the center.
