University Kindergarden and Nursury
Introduction
To arrange a proper environment of academic excellence the university has provided for the entire university members either working or studying, accommodations for their children by opening a kindergarten (1402H/1981). Then based on its success a second kindergarten was opened here in Malaz Center (1405-1406H), its advantage is based on the accomplishments of its qualified Saudi professional preschool educators.

Acceptable Ages
· Nursery: from two weeks old to two years and a half.
· Preschool: from two and a half years to four.
· Kindergarten: from four years to six.
· Special Education: from three years to eight years.
Acceptance conditions
· All children accepted must belong to university members either working or studying. And if any seats are empty they are filled with outside students.
· The child is within the accepted age.
· Accepting children is based on priorities of registration and number of the children is completed.
· Bring each new child on time for registration, and then pay a fee of (500) Riyals. (not refundable if child is pulled out of program)
· Passing the personal interview with the child.
· Completing child folder before the joining in the center and paying the tuition.
· Accepting all rules and regulations of the center.
Rules and Regulation for Entering
1. Filling application form of the registration and request for joining in center.
2. Filling medical form.
3. A copy of the child's vaccinations paper.
4. A copy of the child's birth certificate.
5. Six copies (4*6) pictures for the child.
6. A recognition paper from parent's work place.
7. A recognition paper from mother's work place if child is under four years.
8. Passing personal interview.
9. A copy of the Iqama for non-Saudis
10. A folder
Tuition Payments
· Registration fee of (500) Riyals (not refundable if child is pulled out of program)
· Semester tuitions depend on length of time child stays.
· Tuition is refundable during the first two weeks, the number of days attended is deducted from the amount.
· Classes are from 8am to 12pm.
· Opening hours are from 6:30am to 3pm. (extra charge 500 Riyals will be added for child overtime).
· 10% decrease in tuition fees for more that on student per parent (not included registration fee)
Tuitions (university staff):
1. From 8am to 12pm (1000) Riyals
2. From 8 am to 2pm (1500) Riyals
3. From 8 am to 12pm (1500) Riyals for special education children
Tuitions (non-university staff):
1. From 8am to 12pm (2000) Riyals
2. From 8 am to 2pm (2500) Riyals
3. From 8 am to 12pm (3000) Riyals for special education children
Curriculum
The centers philosophy revolves around the children, their academic needs, social needs, and personal needs. In order to accomplish that, the center adopts a self educating method and up-to-date techniques that concentrate on each child's individual development. All that is done, under the supervision of qualified Saudi teachers.
The program is divided into periods holding different activities in each period. In addition, there are special activities for after-hour students. All activities are planned around supporting the centers academic goals and psychological goals for the students which include, establishing an Islamic and Saudi identity in each child and encouraging good conduct and a feel of confidence.
