The King laid the foundation for a number of constructional and strategic projects at King Saud University The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques laid the foundation for a number of constructional and strategic projects at King Saud University on Sunday 13/2/1430H, most important of which are the University City for Females, the completion of the Medical City, the faculty members' dwellings, and a number of college buildings for males as well as the first stage of the University Endowment and the Riyadh Techno Valley, all amounting to 14 billion and 39 million riyals.

At this occasion, the supervisor of the science and medical departments, Dr. Amal bint Jameel Fatani, gave the best of thanks and expressed gratefulness to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abduallah bin Abdulaziz, for his support and care, to His Excellency Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid Al Angari, and to His Excellency Rector of King Saud University, Professor Abdullah Al-Othman.
