Welcome to the Department of Public Administration at  College of Business Administration

 

 

 

 

Create a Department of Public Administration in the year 1397 AH (1977 AD) to prepare a generation of young people to strengthen the government agencies and institutions by providing them with the necessary  knowledge and skills . The department started a Bachelor program then followed by a Masters Degree in the Department of Health and Hospitals in 1400 (1980). 

For the preparation of highly qualified cadres in the field of health management in line with developments in the Kingdom of development and growth of the health sector

Since the rehabilitation of public sector employees a Platform and the existence of a department of public administration, So was created a poragram of Master of Public Administration in the year (1410) (1990), which is one of the most graduate programs at the University of demand, where lead hundreds of student yearly accept them a limited number

These programs aim to prepare qualified specialists in the leadership of public organizations and to the highest levels of academic and applied world

 

It was also the development of the parallel program for a master's degree in public administration and the Department of Health and Hospitals, And put courses of these programs to allow staff and employee in the public and private sectors to join.

Finally, the establishmenta program for a doctorate in public administration in year 1429 AH (2008) for the purposes of contributing to  upgrading scientific and research in the field of management and contribute to solving administrative problems faced by organizations government  and the public.
Have been discontinued the undergraduate program in public administration after the re-structure the college and the presence of other sections such as the Department of Administration to achieve the purpose of having this program.

Public Administration Department includes a group of faculty graduates of the finest universities in the world and have the contributions of leading research and many of them arrived to a professorship in public administration. It should be noted that these programs be put in the girls section.
