Scout in English!

The Preparatory Year Scout Club launched the first tourist program for the non-Arabic speakers of faculty members, who visited historical landmarks in Saudi Arabia:  Masmak place and Zel Marketplace. The program – A Journey between the Past and the Present – mirrors the rich past of Saudi Arabia and the thriving process of current civilization façade.

The program helps achieve the objectives of Preparatory Year, providing an environment encouraging the practice of English language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

By accident, one of the faculty members was a member of the scouting team and had partaken in the scouting activities in the USA. He voiced readiness to go along with students to desert trips.

At the end, the faculty members appreciated the students' ardent attempts to learn English.
