Hectic Exams’ Schedules are Headache to Students

Final exams are over, however, students still remember time before exams. They suffered confusion and faculty members’ engagements, while found cooperation from some other faculty members, Resalah runs a feature.

Student Areej said the exam schedule was good to some extent but was  hectic on Saturdays and Sundays where they had to sit to two exams a day. She complained that nobody asked for their opinions about exams and whoever did not like an exam time she had to go for the secretary of the department.

Mashael said that some faculty members do their best to make difficult questions that do not go in line with the nature of the course like asking for a long essay about a scientific topic.

Complaining about dedicating 40% of  marks for yearlong in-class activities  and 60% on final exam results, student Mashael said this is unfair  as somebody might face up some circumstances that make her fail to pass the exam or garner a low GPA.

Some students suffered from hectic exam schedule, student Maram says that some courses require strenuous mental efforts on long time basis which troubled them physically.

The students call for reconsidering the way marks are divided  and making non-hectic exam schedules next year.
