Medical Unified Program Failure

Medical Unified Program Failure

Three years elapsed since the unified program of medical college was in force. The program worked out to achieve a fair competition amongst students desiring to study medical majors. It targeted making things easy for those deserving to join the college. But, things went upside down and dreams of students went with winds due to an oppression by a doctor or a disorganization. Why not?! The program is still run by no administration as any other college on campus. Students have no body to complain to or to solve their problems.

After a yearlong study, Resalah newspaper made a survey to see the sufferings of students. Student Fahd Al-Dashash said, "Building No. six is used by thousands of students and lacks proper attention."

Student Ibrahim Al-Shehail said, "We are entitled to have an exclusive, well-equipped building."

Discussing female student status, student Reem Al-Shjaey, said, "We are set apart between the buildings of math and microorganisms.

Timetables is another problem, a paper was put on the signal board at the beginning of the academic year saying: "No Student is Entitled to Change his Group or Table!"

Student Mutaz, said he had no idea about the timetable and waited for long time. Someday, a student from a different group said he had received the timetable from the college of science. This proves the lack of organization they have been suffering.

On conflicting times of exams, student Reem said, "A contradiction occurred between practical and theoretical exams. We wanted to strike  a balance between the two dates but found deaf ear."

The problems of the program are easy to solve. An administration should be appointed to solve the problems. This is the solution, in brief.

This is an overview of some problems facing up the students. The problems are not the complete sufferings of students. A complete set of volumes might be written up on their sufferings.
