Symposium on Prophet Muhammad at College of Teachers

Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al-Efnan, Dean of the College of Teachers, opened a symposium on the Sharia-based, Psychological Stance of Insulting the Prophet, peace be upon him. The symposium discussed the reasons behind the cartoons published by the Danish newspapers.
“There is no cogent reason behind this attack on the Prophet other than the repugnance they have against him. All Prophets had enemies from those who disbelieved in them. The far-flung spread of Islam in the continents of Europe and the North and Southern Americans has been irking them”, said Dr. Ali Al-Seheban, a faculty member.
“The cause of the psychological problem is the lack of equilibrium, particularly after the collapse of the former USSR. But, to gather enmities was difficult so they looked for a common enemy to them (as they thought); they opted Islam and the Prophet to vent their hatred, said professor Dr. Abdul-Hameed Safwan, professor of Psychology; Imam bin Mohammed bin Saud University.
