Int’l course on Qualifying Swimming Trainers

An international course on qualifying swimming trainers is organized by the College of Physical Training on April 19, through May 10 2008.  The course program includes 15-hour theoretical curricula and 30-hour on-the-job training. The courses include training swimming; first aid; swimming laws; age-based characteristics; safety at swimming complexes; and methods of assessing swimming trainers. 

      The course targets enlisting Saudi Arabia in the international array of international trainers under the auspices of the international federation of life-savers. It also targets spreading the awareness of swimming in the Saudi community; qualifying and training a group of people to train swimming.
