Arabic Language Portal Attacked

The portal of Arabic language for learning and teaching was attacked by hackers who linked the webpage off the portal and linked others to webpage promoting anti-Sunni words, flying the flag of Iran.
Lashing out the indecent attack, Dr. Saleh An-Nassar, the portal director-general and professor of Arabic language curricula and teaching methodology, said, “It is an indecent, unjustified behavior since the portal has got nothing to do with religious schools. It, rather, posts databases on dissertation and published researches. It includes four databases on refereed researches on Arabic and symposia.”
Realizing its importance, Professor Dr. Khaild Al-Angary, Minister of Higher Education, launched the portal five years ago at King Saud University. It offers services to two million visitor a year.
