There Is No Rose without a Thorn

This proverb sums up the goings-on on campus. Everything undergoes a change: buildings are made; things are developed; etc. Such change brings disturbance up everywhere; you find traffic jam, high-rate pollution, blocked roads, department locations changed, digging works, water cutoff, and other repercussions caused by the reconstruction process under way.
If we aspire to be pioneering university, we should develop our facilities, buildings, systems, and programs. We have got no choice other than putting up with consequences of the current giant development project that changes routine we have been adopting for years.
I believe that the King Saud University (KSU) needs years to carry on building new facilities: the Girl University City, the new staff housing blocks, and the giant endowment projects. We should not go nervous and should be quiet when facing up troubles, if we want to have a bright future. Deadly sure it will be bright. But patience is needed since there is no rose with a thorn.
