Dr. Abu Samah: The deputy seeks promoting elearning university-wide to help build a better infrastructure. The program will provide the university with the latest technologies it seeks. It provides emailing technologies; system management; operation systems; and programming.
It offers discounts for university staff when buying Microsoft products. It also offers elearning tools that help train the cadres in computer. The information systems department received all software applications in a step to hand them out to bodies concerned.
Resalah: Yahoo is seeking cooperation with the university thru training students and supporting researches via its search engines. What are the anticipated vistas of cooperation?
Dr. Abu Samah: cooperation might be in establishing research chairs, contributing to excellence centres. The university is quite ready for other spheres of cooperation.
