Saudi Arabia vs. France

      A Senegalese student came to my study to say good-bye after spending seven years on campus. He voiced happiness for the years he spent here and for the knowledge he garnered. Yet, he expressed unhappiness for not entering one single house; despite the long years he had been here.  

      “I feel embarrassed, if asked about the customs and traditions of the Saudi family, for I know nothing about them. Meanwhile, I know a lot about the customs and traditions of the French family. The embassy of France to Senegal organizes trips to France for the high school students. The students are hosted by some French families. I went on one of these trips”, said the student.
