A University within the University

One of the unprecedented jumps at King Saud University (KSU) is creating KSU Deputy for Knowledge Exchange and Technology Transfer. Named KSU Deputy for Branch Affairs in the past organization chart of the KSU, the deputy is centerpiece of development on campus. It launched a series of development programs during the past and half year. Still, it has more and more new initiatives and programs.
The KSU deputy sums development story up; it is a milestone on campus and an exemplar to follow up. It is a prototype deputy of Saudi and Arab universities.
The story was that H.E. KSU President thought of setting up a department or a deputy not restricted with red-tape. Once he got it, he founded it. Luckily enough, he got a dynamic person like Professor Dr. Ali Al-Ghamdy, an innovator of development initiatives on campus.
Al-Ghamdy could bring about nifty ideas for work. He created supporting departments for PR, organization, mass communication and others to make life go easier. Other departments are overloaded with other assignments and are committed to red-tape. So, he'd better create different, new departments to make the cycle of success go on. These departments work day and night, changing the mode of university work, adopting new ways. The deputy is a small university within a university.
To be fair, there are other deputies and colleges following steps of KSU Deputy for Knowledge Exchange and Technology Transfer. This beefs up the cycle of development that carries on to cover all departments and colleges on campus.
