I will Earn MA from UK: Visual-Impaired Lecturer

I love physics, yet, I have majored in cognitive psychology. I will travel to the UK to earn MA degree, says Sumaiah Al-Nagashy, a visual-impaired lecturer, in an interview.
Resalat: Talk about your education history, in brief?
Sumaiyah: I joined kindergarten in the USA, primary school in Riyadh, prep and high school in Jeddah, graduated from King Abdulaziz University, majored in cognitive psychology.
Resalat: What are the services offered by university to students with disabilities?
Sumaiyah: It provided many services: escorts, somebody to write on my behalf, books on Braille way, and audio computers. In general, it paid much attention to the visual impaired, in particular.

Resalat: King Saud University established a disability service center in 1995. What do you know about it?
Sumaiyah: I heard about it and seek on joining it to offer my services thru it.
Resalah: Why did you choose cognitive psychology?
Sumaiyah: I loved scientific subjects, particularly physics. Yet, I changed my mind and chose cognitive psychology since it coped with my disability.
Resalah: Are there any regulations to recruit lectures with disabilities?
Sumaiyah: No. the selection process is based upon personal viewpoints that differ from to another and from a department to another.
Resalah: Do you find any difficulty in controlling the class?
Sumaiyah; In the beginning, I found no difficulty since students were self-controlled. Yet, some students later started to play games. So, I asked for an escort help to control the class.
Resalah: Where shall you carry on your postgraduate studies?
Sumaiyah: I thought of the same university. Yet, I made up my mind to resume my postgraduate studies in Britain. I have got a scholarship from the UK. I am finalizing the procedures.
