World of Autism in Seminar
A seminar on autism was held last Tuesday by the graduates of the 11th batch of psychology. The seminar - World of Autism - was attended by families whose sons and daughter have acquired autism and representatives of autism and community centers.
Dr. Azah Al-Ghamdy, professor of special education, welcomed the attendance; showed sufferings of families with autism cases; and gave them a piece of advice on how to deal with children with autism.
Dr. Amal Al-Duwah, professor of special education, made a presentation on autism showing how to avert the illness in early phases. She discussed the studies conducted on children who acquired autism. She called for shedding lights on a number of topics, foremost of which men and women with autism and the King Saud University role in caring with them in collaboration with the autism centers.
