Some students feel indifferent and depend on others to do the job on behalf of them. Such dependence gnaws the education process and brings about unqualified personnel.
Student Nada Mohammed said, "I usually depend on others and not myself. It is a dangerous phenomenon yet, it makes life easier. I do not only depend on students, I do on faculty members of staff. I note that some students do go the faculty members not to get a piece of information, but to beg for a mark or two."

Contrary to Nada, student Latifa Mahsary said," I do depend on myself particularly on my personal affairs. Yet, if I cannot do a thing , I ask for help at once. I also help others if in my hand. If someone said she could not help me, I do not say she is selfish. I just say she is free to take a decision she likes."
Dr. Badraih Al-Fozan, Islamic culture department vice-dean, said, "I can distinguish between outstanding and non-clever students. I still remember some students whom I taught 15 years ago. They were model of clever students."
On the notes made by professors, Al-Fowzan blamed the one-source study. It reflected the academic vacuum within a student and teachers are to blame.
Dr. Amal Ibrahim, Arabic department, said, " I write up some reports on my students and I can easily differentiate between student who is weak, good, or excellent. So, I forgive a clever student if she performs badly in a certain exam. I do blame the notes made bys professors to summarize the curricula. It is really brings about weakness into the academic process.
The sincere advice by all faculty members is that students should depend on themselves and should study hard from various sources.
