Nobel Laureate is a KSU Faculty Member
Louis Ignarro, winner of Nobel Award in The Nobel Prize in Medicine, 1998, agreed to join the King Saud University (KSU). He is professor of Peripheral Blood Vessel Diseases, Los Angeles, the USA.
Thanks to a visit paid to the USA by a delegation, Ignarro agreed to be a full-time professor, and would send outstanding fellow researchers to be a full-timer to run the KSU blood vessels laboratory for basic sciences and a highly experienced lab technician from his work team to be a full-timer at the lab, said Dr. Dr. Mohammad bin Abdurrahman Al Omran, director of the Research Chair for Peripheral Blood Vessel Diseases.
