Upon receiving a cordial invitation form the National Commercial Bank (NCB), the NCYS Secretary General his Excellency Dr. Nizar AlSalih took part in the 6th GCF held under the auspices of the Custodian of the two holy mosques, his majesty King Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz, during the period 21-23/01/2012G at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh.

The GCF aims to upgrade the competitiveness of the national economy in addition to the private and government sectors. The cooperation and the joint initiatives of the two sectors shall increase the optimum use of the available employment opportunities and increase the youth giftedness ending in turning the job seekers into investors and entrepreneurs.

The GCF had 104 speakers from 48 countries in the intellectual, entrepreneurial and economic fields in addition to thinkers in various other disciplines. They participated in 35 panel discussions. The total who expressed their intention to participate from various countries were 2000 while the 2300 Saudis submitted their new initiatives.

It is worth mentioning that the GC Forum does not issue recommendations, instead the Forum issues specific initiatives to be implemented the following year.
