In accordance with the requirements of awarding higher education degrees, admission in the master’s program
in the field of education management for female students requires the following:
1. Passing admission exams organised by the department.
2. Passing the interview held by the department.
3. Privilege is given to the student who has experience in teaching, education management, and/or scientific
research.
4. The student should have a bachelor degree in education with an average of no less than( very good) from a
Saudi university or from any other recognised university. Students holding other specialisations can be
admitted, too.
5. The student should present three recommendation letters from members of staff who taught her at the
undergraduate level showing her ability to do scientific research to qualify her pursue her higher education for a
master’s degree in education management.
6. Fulltime study is required through out the period of study in the program.
7. No more than 7 years should pass after obtaining the bachelor degree. An exception to this is those who
have a degree in education and have experience in the field of education.
The department requires the following to award the PhD degree:
In accordance with the requirements of awarding higher education degrees, admission in the PhD program in
the field of education management for female students requires the following:
1. The student should have a TOEFL score 450 and above.
2. Passing the interview held by the department.
3. Privilege is given to the student who has experience in teaching, education management, and/or scientific
research.
4. The student should have a master’s degree in education specialised in education management from a Saudi
university or from any other recognised university. Students holding other specialisations can be admitted, too.
5. The student should have an average of no less than (very good) at the master’s level. Regarding the
universities which follow other grading systems, an accumulative average of (very good) in the courses studied
should be enough.
6. The student should pass the admission exams organised by the department.
7. The student should present three recommendation letters from members of staff who taught her at the
master’s level showing her ability to do scientific research to qualify her pursue her higher education for a
doctor of philosophy degree in education management.
8. The practical experience for the applicants should be no less than two years; teaching assistants and
lecturers are an exception.
9. Fulltime study is required through out the period of study in the program.
10. No more than 7 years should pass after obtaining the master’s degree. Exceptions to this are the teaching
assistants and lecturers who have a degree in education and have experience in the field of education.
