Can I apply for programs offered through the direct admission track for academically distinguished students, as well as programs offered through the general admission track?

Yes, you can, within the maximum number of choices available to you. The sorting and selection process will be conducted based on the admission criteria, conditions, and capacity.

What is the difference between the direct admission track for academically distinguished students in bachelor’s programs and the general admission track for the Common First Year programs and the Sharia program at King Saud University?

To maintain enrollment through direct admission, the student must achieve a cumulative GPA of no less than 4.50 out of 5 after completing the requirements of the Common First Year, in accordance with the approved study plan. Is priority in admission given to those who received their high school certificate this year?

Direct admission to academic programs for academically distinguished students is exclusive to this year’s graduates only. For the general admission track, there is no priority given based on the date of obtaining the high school certificate, provided that the maximum period for the high school certificate date, as mentioned in the general admission conditions, is adhered to.
